You can read every question, run every code example, and use the SQL Playground and Big O game without creating an account or giving us any personal information. Creating a free account only unlocks progress tracking across devices, and requires just an email address. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not process payments because the site is free.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Only if you create an account | To sign you in and sync progress across devices |
| Google profile (name, email, avatar) | Only if you sign in with Google | Alternative to email/password sign in |
| Question completion progress | While using the site | To show which questions you've marked done |
| Pages visited, device type, approximate location | Automatically, for all visitors | Anonymous analytics to see what content is useful |
We never ask for a password we don't need, a phone number, a physical address, or payment details, because the site has nothing to buy.
InterviewPrep runs on a small set of external services, each handling a specific job. We chose providers that don't sell data to advertisers.
You can delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from your account page, or by emailing 2004ojassharma@gmail.com. Requests are handled within a few days. Since we collect the bare minimum to begin with, there usually isn't much to delete beyond your email and progress records.
InterviewPrep is intended for developers preparing for technical interviews and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Significant changes will also be noted on the blog.
Questions about this policy or your data can go to 2004ojassharma@gmail.com or the contact page.
